I walked back to my room to find Lydia cleaning up, as usual. Upon seeing me, she paused and said, “I brought some juice for you; it’s on your table.” Then she returned to her work. That was the least of my concerns at the moment. I didn’t bother to glance at the glass on the table. What was more important was figuring out who was behind the mysterious parcel. I strode to my window, stopping at the edge with my hands resting on the frame.
