The day went by roughly, coupled with the workload at the office. What started as a good day had ended halfway through because of the information my beta gave me. I didn’t understand why her uncle would bring him over, coercing her to be with him. I had sent the warrior to inform her uncle that I would be coming to see him, and, funny enough, his response didn’t sound odd.
The warrior even had to call me so I could speak to him for confirmation, which he seemed pleased about.
I left the office early to attend to some issues at the pack. Once I was done, I proceeded to get ready to head out. Standing in front of the mirror, I straightened my tie and patted my hair backward before heading to the exit.
