Adrian I stared at the wall momentarily, focusing on the footsteps approaching from the direction where I was standing. For a moment, everything halted, and I could no longer hear the steps. Once I was certain, I ran my fingers along the cold stone wall and pressed a small, uneven brick. It clicked, and a low rumble echoed through the hallway. Dust danced in the air as the wall began to shift, the stone grinding against stone. Slowly, a narrow doorway emerged, dark, hidden, and untouched. I cautiously eased my way into the doorway. The smell of dust filled my nose, and cobwebs drifted down from above, landing silently at my feet. The air was heavy, untouched for months.
