Moving back home

Sienna’s POV

“Beep beep beep”the sound of my alarm woke me up from my sleep,just as my mom called me from downstairs.“Sienna we will miss our flight if you don’t get down this minute”.I stood up abruptly and picked out my outfit for the day and dresses just ain’t my style so I went with bike shorts,sweatshirt and chunky white sneakers then headed straight to the bathroom to freshen up,once I was done I dried my hair and came out to dress up when I saw my best friend “eres”as I like to call her sitting on my bed lazily typing away on her phone.She’s the only friend I have as l like to keep to myself at all times.Eres was homeschooled since kindergarten because her dad feared losing her like he lost his wife and son.So since she’s moving back home with us she’ll be schooling with me.She looked up from her phone and asked“All set or you need a hand packing”she said.I stirred down at her like she has gained two heads.A knock on the door brought me back from my daze,my mom came inside“why ain’t you dressed yet”she asked me,before I could answer,she turned and grabbed my luggage dragging them out the door and left.

Eres was still looking at me with a solemn expression,I ignored her and got dressed.

It’s 8:55 and our flight leaves in the next 45mins. We got down to have our breakfast and we left right after that. Our flight lasted for almost 10hrs,I was exhausted like everybody else when we landed.I stretched my limbs when we got off the plane looking around in awe.I don’t remember much here but I would love to go for a tour around the city.We came by a private plane and as soon as we alighted three SUV’s came to pick us up from the airport since Mr Castillo wanted to ensure our safety.

“I have a surprise for you”Eres exclaimed loudly.I turned around to look at her. “I don’t think it’s my birthday” I exclaimed boringly. “I never said it was your birthday,I just have a surprise for you “she said.I nodded without taking my eyes off her.I was startled when she suddenly pulled me into a hug. “I’m so happy I came with you,I don’t know what I’ll do without you”she said.I hugged her back tightly, “I would never have left you behind”I said firmly and chuckled lightly when I saw tears in her eyes when we pulled back from each other’s embrace.She has always been a cry baby. “I don’t know what I would do without you too”I told her truthfully.I made a vow to myself to always be there for her because she was like a sister I never had.We stopped in front of a three story building house and we unloaded our luggage’s from the car into the house.The house was huge and beautiful. “Your rooms are on the second floor”my mom announced.Eres and I took the elevator to the top floor.There are three bedrooms on the second floor.Eres took the first bedroom and I took the room next to hers.The room was spacious enough and I loved the colors.There was a queen size bed in the middle of the room and a study desk at the far corner on my right and a walk-in closet on my left with a huge bathroom attached to it.I started to unpack and by the time I was done it was dark outside,I checked the time and it was past seven and today being Friday,I had the weekend to prepare for school.I was exhausted by the time I finished unpacking my things so I headed to the bathroom to freshen up.Once I was settled in comfortably I sat behind my laptop when I heard a knock on the door, “the door is unlocked “I shouted.Eres came in and sat on my bed. “Are you done unpacking” I asked and she nodded. “I finished like an hour ago but I was too tired to move so I took a short nap”she exclaimed.She handed me a small box “what’s inside” I asked her.

“Just open the damn thing “she said.Without wasting much time I opened it to find a key and it wasn’t just any key it was the latest CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP.It was my dream motorcycle,I wanted it since I turned 16 but my mom said I was too young to have it.I looked up at her and she was just grinning from ear to ear.I jumped up and hugged her on the bed “thank you thank you thank you”I exclaimed excitedly. “You’re welcome “she replied.

We chatted a little longer and she left to bed and I headed to bed myself.
