Confusion

973 Words
When school was over she went home without talking to any of her friends, she needed to clear her mid. Her house was close to school so she was walking home on the sidewalk just thinking, going through what happened. She didn't even know his name, who was he? He was so beautiful, so handsome. His eyes was red, how did that happen? She had so many questions but she didn't have the time to ask anything, he was just gone. Amelie reached her house, it was small on the outside but pretty spacious inside. She opened the door to find no one home, nice. The hall was painted cream white with a wardrobe for jackets and shoes on the right side, on the left was a small table and a keyholder. She put her shoes in the wardrobe and went to the bathroom, she took off her clothes and turned on the shower. While she was waiting she put her hair in a bun, she already washed it the day before. When the shower was warm enough she went inside. She lathered up her body and rinced off, went out and began to dry her body. When she was dry she looked herself in the mirror, the Amelie looking back was not a pretty sight. Her strawberry blonde hair in a sloppy bun, her big emerald green eyes looking dull. She had big dark purple circles under them and her complexion was pale. Her body were thin, showing some of her ribs and there were silvery streaks on her thighs, and all up her arms. She inspected the place on her upper arm and looked chocked at the new silver scars that formed, they should be reddish, but they are silver like they healed a long time ago. It was that guys doing, she was sure of it. She shivered thinking about him. He was so beautiful but the way he was licking her blood was unsettling. Amelie tied the fluffy towel around her body and made way to her room, it was spacious but not very big. She had a bed, vanity, closet and a study desk. She went to the closet and grabbed an oversized shirt and some cozy sweats, pulled them on and then plopped down on the bed. She still only had that guy in her mind when her phone buzzed. She looked at it and it was a text from Crystal. "You forgot to get the notes for the classes you skipped." Shit. Amelie skipped a lot of classes but she would usually get Crystals notes to copy so she would atleast keep up with everything. She quickly texted back. "Can I come and pick them up from you?" "Sure" Amelie jumped up from bed and went to put on some socks before heading to the hall and put on the shoes and hurried out to her car. She drove over to Crystals place and found her outside her house. She went out the car and walked up to Crystal. "Thank you, I owe you." Amelie said with sincere gratitude in her eyes towards Crystal. Crystal just shrugged and pushed the papers into Amelies chest before turning around and going inside. Amelie went back into her car, she was used to Crystal so she didn't really care getting no reply. When she was driving back she spotted the guy from school on the sidewalk. Her heart started racing and she stopped her car to get out. "Hey! Who are you?" She called out to him. He stopped walking and looked at her for a long second before smirking. "Damien." He replied and started walking again. "What are you?" She pressed and looked at his back tensing at her question, but he just slightly looked back with the same smirk before continueing his walk. Amelie shook her head and went into her car again, sitting stunned behind the steering wheel. Damien... But she the only answer she got from him about what he was, was just a smirk. She shook her head again feeling a blush starting to head on her cheeks. What a dumb question, she must've just been imagineing things. There was no way his eyes were red, she was just seeing things because of her panic attack. He must just be some p*****t. Yes, that must be it. Amelie drove home deep in thought and when she got home she saw her mothers car in the driveway. She sighed and went inside the house. "Amelie? Is that you? You're usually not home this late." Her mothers voice came from the kitchen, the smell of food reaching Amelies nose. "Yeah, I forgot something in school and went over to Crystal to pick it up." Amelie answers as she is walking towards the kitchen. There is a big island between the kitchen and the dinner table, she sits down at the island and watch her mother cook. They didn't have a horrible relationship but she just felt that they were simply living together. They didn't have that special mother - daughter relationship, neither did she have that with her dad. Amelie was just there. "Your dad went out of town for a few days for work so it will just be you and me." Her mother states as she puts a plate with food in front of Amelie. Amelie looks down at her plate with ravioli, she starts eating but is mostly poking it with her fork. Damien is the only thing on her mind as she halfheartedly listens to her mother going on about her day. When dinner was over she went back into her bedroom and sat at her study table to read through Crystals notes. She was very thorough with her notes and it was easy to read. Amelie let out a sigh of relief and started with the homework.
