I waved a hand at Liam, and he gave me the document I'd requested.
"10 million dollars," I started, "for the bottle of wine. $5 million dollars for the car you thrashed six months ago. $2 million dollars for the necklace you bought for your sister for her birthday. Including the 'gifts' your mother bought for herself using my card. You should be owing me around..." I paused, smirking as I watched them stare at me. "$24.8 million. Let's just round it up to $25 million. How do you plan to pay?"
"What the heck?" Alex fumed, moving close to me. Two of the men I hired stepped forward, and he froze, stammering as he retreated.
Coward.
"Do you have trouble hearing?" I asked.
Alex could nearly die from the anger, and his mother wasn't better off. She was on her feet now, screaming at me, "We humbly came to take you back, thinking of your condition, but what? Pay you back? How dare you? Do you think the Voss family can't live without you? How can you blatantly say a bottle of wine costs $10 million dollars? Is that even possible?"
I smiled, "If you have doubt, how about we have it appraised? What do you think?"
"Yes!" She screamed.
"And if the bottle is worth that? You'll pay twice the amount of bottles. Deal?"
"Mom..." Alex started trying to shut her up, but she pushed him away
"And if it's a fake, you should give Alex the company just as you promised, and divorce Alex. Our family has no need for an ungrateful woman."
And who would be better off? Mara. I looked at her, the b***h still clung to Alex like her lifeline. I wasn't even this clingy when I was chasing him.
I looked at Alex. His mother's proposal was getting to him. He seemed reluctant, but the thought of getting the company seemed too appealing a deal to pass up. The greedy fool. He was probably also skeptical about the price of the wine. After all, he never really knew how much I was worth.
"If I'm gambling my company," I said, leaning against the couch, "then I'll need more leverage. Maybe..." I drawled, pointing a finger at her, dragging it to Alex, and then at Mara, before returning it back to Alex. "He should put his d**k on the line. I think that'll be worth it."
"You... you..." His mother stammered, nearly fainting from anger. "Just because you can't have kids doesn't mean you should ruin my son. You barren w***e!"
Barren?
Was that what he told his mother?
It no longer mattered. The only thing that I cared about right now was making him regret ever playing me.
I sighed, "If that's too much. Then, I can't put my company on the line too, it's also precious to me—as precious as your son's manhood." I looked up at her, "Think, your son's d**k in exchange for the company, don't you think it's a good deal?"
"Over my dead body," she screamed, Alex covering his crotch with his hand, "who knows if the person appraising has been bribed by you? I never knew you were so evil."
"If you're not willing to risk his d**k," I said tilting my head, "how about you put in an additional $20 million, I'll let you choose the person appraising?"
"Shut the f**k up, Selena!"
Alex started, but before he could say anything else, his mother screamed, "Deal."
I smiled.
His mother chose the appraiser herself, and I even let him call her. I could see the wheels turning behind her eyes as we waited for him. She was probably planning how she would take over the company. I knew having a wine worth $10 million dollars was something she'd never believe. After all, no one knew how much I was really worth. Alex might have found out later if only he knew how to keep his d**k in his pants.
But Alex was worried. That much was obvious. I watched him bite his nails nervously as his mother eyed me with confidence.
He was making a huge bet. One he would definitely lose.
When the appraiser arrived, Alex's mother ran to him, watching with a smug face as he examined the bottle and tasted the wine.
"How much is it really worth?" She asked, greed sparkling in her eyes, "I'm sure it's not even worth $2 million," she scoffed, "let's see how you get out of this."
Mara also came to my side, tugging at my arm. "Just apologize sister-in-law, maybe mother can still forgive you. Stop being stubborn."
If I knew nothing, I'd think she was honestly worried about me.
Alex's mother scoffed, "Even if she grovels and begs me now, I won't take her back."
I didn't say anything, simply watched the appraiser do his work.
When he finally stood, he was sweet on his forehead, "Where did you find this?"
I smiled, "It was my father's before he died. Why do you ask?"
"Why else?" Alex's mother retorted, "he obviously thinks it trash and you just wasted his time" she took the bottle and smashed it on the ground. The appraiser almost bumped into the table to catch it.
I watched the liquid spread across the floor and smirked. Fool.
"How dare you smashed it!?" The appraiser screamed at her.
She staggered, taken back. "Isn't it just a cheap old wine? Why the fuss?"
"It's... it's château sombrelune! The only piece left in this world! How dare you drop it like that? It's currently worth $15 million dollars!" He cried.
"$15 million dollars?" Alex screamed, "You had that much money? Do you know how much we could have earned from selling that?"
I didn't even bother replying to him. I only faced his mother, who had slumped to the ground in shock, Mara by her side, trying to help her up.
"You now owe me $55 million." I stretched out my hands, and Liam placed another document in my hand. "Sign this," I said, placing it on the table, "or spend the next few years in jail. Your call"
"Sister-in-law," Mara cried, tears spilling from her eyes like she had a waterfall behind them, "please don't do this. My brother has been nothing but good to you. Why are you...?"
"Brother?" I laughed, looking down at her. “Which brother has his c**k deep down his sister's throat?”
