“You’ll be getting another surprise in less than 24 hours. Countdown starts now.” I stared at the message again.
What kind of surprise could he possibly be planning this time? The art collection he sent earlier had already thrown me for a loop.
When I saw all those pieces sitting on my doorstep, I was in shock. I couldn’t believe he had bought the entire collection just for me.
He’d sent me an entire art collection—every piece unique and ridiculously expensive.
The kind of thing most people would only dream of owning, but he got the whole collection for me. I was overwhelmed.
I loved one piece in particular and decided to keep it, but the rest? I had to return them.
I wasn’t even sure how to explain that to Adrian, but I didn’t want my house to turn into a gallery.
