Mia fainted out of shock. People gathered around them, please someone should get water. Someone from the gathering shouted. Just then, the car door opened as David came down. Liam rushed to him “Please save my mom, she's the only one I have,” Liam begged as tears rolled down his eyes. David carried Mia and laid her at the back seat. And Liam sat beside his mum as she was rushed to the hospital. (At the hospital) Mia was taking a drip as she opened her eyes slowly. “Where's my son?” she said with a nasal voice immediately she opened her eyes fully looking around. “Mummy!!” Liam said, hugging his mother. “Ohhh sweetie, were you injured?” She asked as she turned him around to check if he had any injuries. Excuse me…..David said looking confused. Ohhh you're her lover, the caller mocked him laughing so hard. David had to end the call as he went back to the hospital in search of them. He was on the lifter where he saw her running with her son. Mummy, where are we going? Liam asked, holding his mum as they were running. I will tell you when we get home she said as she turned her back and saw the three men who were chasing her getting closer. She entered the elevator with her son and it closed before the men could get to her. The elevator stopped after a few seconds and slid open. She looked so frightened as sweat drops were draining her clothes thinking it was those men who were chasing her. Just then David walked in. She gave a sigh of relief as the elevator slid closed again. Here is your cell phone, David said, handing the cell phone over to Mia. The elevator slid open at the first floor David and Mia went separate ways. David got to the family house when. His step mum and his dad were already seated at the dining. Oh my dear, what took you long to be here, his step mum asked as she stood up to hug him. I had meetings to attend. He replied as he moved her hands away from him.
