Chapter Three

322 Words
Derek Today was the first day of Winter term. I decided to get to school early, I hate, hate crowds. With my tight nit group of friends of about 5 or 6 and then some that I'm not too close with, are who I'm comfortable around. It's the masses that suffocates me. Being early helps me take things in stride and as well let's me casually hang out with friends before the bell rings. As I leave my locker I get distracted by the ping of my cell, briefly i look down to see who texted me. I'm waiting for a message from Clear. She's been a little high strung lately and wanted to talk to me today about something. While looking down I run into someone. Looking up i noticed i didn't make her drop anything. But then as my eyes train in on her more, I notice I haven't seen her around before. I can feel the kind aura around her, maybe if my feeling is right she'll be someone to bring into the fold of my friends. *** Through out the day I've gotten to know that girl some better. Levi, she's full of live and is spunky, but she's most definitely reserved and not fully showing who she is. I do know everyone likes her, except for the unneeded jealousy of my girlfriend. But I told when I took Clear home after school that she has nothing to worry about, so hopefully they can become ok acquaintances at least. It's my senior year and all I can do is cross off the days until graduation. I've thought about college and would love to attend a good university, but this damn anxiety of mine might not let me. I need to figure this s**t out. Adding insult to injury, I don't even want to walk at my graduation just so i can avoid the crowd its going to draw.
