"Longing for love"
Michael sat alone in his room, staring at the blank walls. His eyes, with striking blue irises, gazed blankly at the empty walls. He had a narrow, angular face with a prominent jawline and high cheekbones. His nose was straight and slightly pointed, giving him a sharp appearance. His lips were full, soft and pink, with a slight curve at the corners that suggested a hint of mischief. His lips had a natural shine to them, and they were pressed together in a frown, indicating his feelings of sadness and isolation. Michael's complexion was pale, with a few freckles scattered on his cheeks. His hair was dark brown, cropped short and messy, as if he had run his fingers through it many times in frustration. His eyebrows were thick and straight, furrowed in thought and worry.
Despite his attractive features, Michael's countenance was marred by an air of melancholy and resignation, a reflection of the emotional pain he carried within him. His facial expression seemed to reveal the burden of his feelings of being an outsider in his own family, an unwelcome and unloved stranger in his own home.
Michael let out a heavy sigh, feeling defeated and hopeless. He wondered if he would ever be able to earn their love and acceptance. He longed for the warmth and love that he saw in other families, but it seemed like an unattainable dream.
As he sat there, lost in thought, a knock on his door interrupted his musings. It was his childhood friend, Lucy. She had always been there for him, through thick and thin. They had grown up together, and she was the only one who understood him.
Lucy sat down beside him and put a comforting arm around his shoulder. Michael leaned into her embrace, feeling a sense of comfort and safety that he had never felt before.Seeing the look on Michael's face, she knew that something was bothering him.
"What's wrong, Michael?" Lucy asked, sitting down next to him.
"I just feel so helpless," Michael replied. "I don't know what to do anymore. . "Sometimes life is a bit tough, but we have to be strong as a wolf" Lucy said while smirking.
Michael couldn't help but smile as Lucy's reassuring words and presence helped ease his worries. They spent the night together, reminiscing about their childhood memories and the times when Lucy had helped him through tough situations before.
As they talked, Michael felt grateful for having Lucy as his friend. He realized that even though he may not have the love and support from his parents, he had people like Lucy who genuinely cared for him.
Before they knew it, it was already late at night and Michael knew it was time to go to bed. He thanked Lucy for being there for him and hugged her tightly. As they parted ways for the night, Michael knew that he had a friend in her who would always be there to support him through the good times and bad.
The next day at breakfast,Michael felt nervous as he sat down for dinner with his parents. He fiddled with his fork, trying to work up the courage to speak. Finally, he took a deep breath and looked up at his father.
"Dad," he said, his voice a little shaky. "I want to talk to you about the business."
His father raised an eyebrow. "What about it?"
"I think...I think I could do a good job managing it," Michael said, his heart racing. "I know I've messed up in the past, but I've learned from my mistakes. I want to make things right."
His father looked skeptical. "You've had your chances, Michael. And you've let me down every time."
"I know, but this time will be different," Michael said, his voice growing more confident. "I've been working hard, studying business, learning from my mistakes. I'm ready to take on the responsibility."
His father sighed, leaning back in his chair. "I don't know, Michael. It's a big risk. And we've already made our decision."
Michael's heart sank. "What decision?"
"We've decided to appoint Marvin as the new director of the company," his father said.
Michael felt a surge of anger and frustration. Marvin, his rival, the one who had always been favored by his parents. He couldn't believe they would choose him over their own son.
"But Dad," he protested. "Marvin has always been against me. He's never had the company's best interests at heart."
His father shook his head. "We've made our decision, Michael. You'll have to accept it."
Michael felt a knot forming in his stomach. He knew he had to find another way to prove himself to his parents, to earn their trust and love. But at that moment, he felt like he had hit a dead end.
Michael's father had always been a businessman at heart. He had spent his entire life building up the family business, and he was proud of what he had accomplished. But as he grew older, he began to realize that he couldn't do it alone. He needed someone to take over the reins when he was gone, and he had always hoped that it would be his son, Michael.
However, as much as he loved his son, he knew that Michael wasn't quite ready to take on such a huge responsibility. He lacked the experience, the knowledge, and the maturity to run a successful business. And so, he turned to Marvin, the director of the company, who had proven himself to be a trustworthy and capable employee over the years.
It was a difficult decision for Michael's father to make. He knew that it would hurt his son, but he also knew that it was the right thing to do for the company. Michael needed to earn his stripes, gain experience, and prove himself before he could take over the family business.
Michael, however, was devastated by his father's decision. He felt like he had let his father down, like he wasn't good enough to carry on the family legacy. He felt like he had lost his chance to prove himself, to show his father that he was capable of running the business.
But deep down, Michael knew that his father was right. He still had a lot to learn, and he needed to work hard and gain the necessary skills and experience to run the family business. And with time, he hoped that he could earn his father's trust and prove that he was worthy of taking over when the time was right.
