The Wolfless Alpha

Travis's POV My forest green eyes roamed around to see disappointment on everyone's faces. They are looking at me as if I have committed the biggest crime when I didn’t even do anything. I can see they are blaming me through their gazes but I don’t understand why? Because it is not in my hand. I closed my eyes in complete helplessness and defeat waiting for the worst because I know even though I have done nothing wrong still I will have to bear the punishment. After taking a beep breath I opened my eyes to find Alpha Zander, my father walking in my direction. His jaw clenched, hands fisted tightly and eyes are filled with anger. Fear has gripped my heart and it increased with each step he was taking in my direction but I did my best to not show it to anyone, keeping my face blank and emotionless. I know what he is about to do and I braced myself to bear his wrath. A loud sound echoed in the silent garden of pack house and my head tilted to the side because of the force he used to slap me. It hurt badly, but I know better than to wince in pain and let out even a single whimper out of my mouth. I know it is just a beginning, he won't stop with just a slap. Looking at his raged demeanor I can even guess that he is planning to kill me. I am not scared of death. He knows it as well, maybe that is why he announced a punishment for me which is worse than the death itself. "I Alpha Zander Wilson, strip off Travis Wilson from the title of future Alpha of this pack and announce my second son, Aiden Wilson as the Future Alpha of Dark Moon Pack" He said through gritted teeth. No one dared to go against his words. No, him stripping me off from my title is not bad. I don't even care about the title. But his next words were the cause for the terror which settled inside me and caused a shiver to run down my spine. "From now on Travis is no longer my son but a Slave of the pack" Uttering this words he left me without giving me a single glance, to deal with the cruel fate he just engraved for me, his own son. You might be wondering why? Because today I turned sixteen. The day I was supposed to shift in my wolf for the first time. But I didn't. They say I am an Alpha by rank. The next leader of the pack. But there is no way that my dad and other pack members will now accept me as a leader, when I don't even have a wolf. Yes, you guessed it right I Am an Alpha without wolf, A wolf less Alpha.
