“Sarah is in danger”
The moment Grayson's words registered in my mind, my breathing stopped. A cold shiver ran down my spine.
My heart started beating so fast that I felt it will come out of my chest.
Panic crawled in each part of my body and my insides twisted painfully. Knots formed in my stomach as fear settled deep inside me.
Now I understood why the restlessness I was feeling didn’t go away even after the fire had stopped. I was not feeling uneasy because of fire but it was because my mate is in danger.
And this thing is terrifying me to my core.
I tried to calm my anxious heart and tried to think of a way to protect her. I can’t give in to panic.
“What do you mean she is in danger?” I heard Clark asking. His voice is laced with panic and concern.
