Chase's POV
I paced in front of the operation room where Travis is getting treated by the doctors.
My heart is thumping loudly in my ribcage because of tension. I raked my hand through my hairs in anger and worry.
While we were returning back from the Black Shadow Pack after the Alpha summit, eight man surrounded our car blocking our way.
They looked like rogues with their strong builds but something inside me told me that they weren’t just rogues.
I, Aron and Ethan, a warrior of pack who was accompanying us came out of the car. I had clearly told Travis to stay inside but he couldn’t.
He saw we were outnumbered and three of them were attacking Ethan, so he got down from the car to help us. He strode towards Ethan but couldn’t reach near him.
It was as if the attackers were waiting
