Dave leaned against the wall, observing Cassidy as she continued to question him about Camilla. Her eyes flickered with an emotion he couldn't quite place, but it seemed dangerously close to jealousy.
"Why are you so interested in Camilla?" Cassidy asked, her voice tinged with an edge she rarely used.
“Cassy, do I look like I'm interested in her? She’s just hanging out with me, that’s all. Nothing more, Cassy. Do I have to hit her to let you know?”
