Camilla stood at the edge of the deserted road, scanning her surroundings nervously. The vast expanse of empty fields and sparse trees seemed to stretch on forever, making her feel tiny and vulnerable. She had been instructed to meet a man here, in the middle of nowhere, her mind wandered through why she had to walk through a lonely area when they could talk on phone. As she waited, a figure emerged from the shadows. He was tall and imposing, with piercing eyes that seemed to bore into her soul. Camilla shivered, despite the warmth of the evening. "You're the one," he said, his voice low and gravelly. "I've been expecting you." Camilla swallowed hard, trying to find her voice. "I...I came to tell you that the plans aren't working," she stammered. The mysterious man raised an eyebrow.
