I stared at the ceiling of the hospital room, deep in thought. I missed them—my mates. It wasn’t just their presence I longed for but the way they completed me. I felt empty without them and the fact that my wolf was constantly howling while stirring in my chest wasn’t helping matters.
I grabbed my phone and opened our group chat. It sounded a bit pathetic but my heart ached for some kind of connection.
