Prologue
Eden "And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.” The nachash nodded, its face not revealing what was under the surface. Internally a plan began to form, one that would change everything and hinder this woman's offspring from ever crushing its head... 2025: Tarterus Deep within a cavern in the North Pole shrouded in darkness, single footsteps can be heard. The footsteps draw closer to the sound of mornful weaping, the sound is deafening and almost unatural. Suddenly, there is a click, followed by the sound of heavy chains falling. It echoes throughout the depths, slowly, the mourning turns to manic laughter as more chains fall. A voice, raspy and gruff speaks, and the cackles die down. "Watchers! for thousands of years we have been bound here, forced to watch our children brutally slay one another, and a flood destroy others! we have seen the human race descend to further depravity and yet they did not face the same repercussions we have! but not anymore! the time has come for the end of the age of men!" with that came a roar of approval from 199 enraged beings. "come, let us ascend to the earth, and let our reign begin" the voice purred. "wait, we need a plan, a course of action if you will" came another voice "after all this time, you still underestimate me" the voice retorted in mock dissapointment, "there is already a plan, it was set in motion, long before we were banished here" the voice said arrogantly. "as we speak, those worthless sacks of bone and flesh have been making preparations to herald our return". There were sounds of chuckles all around at the last statement, with running commentary of "fools" and "puppets" being thrown in for good measure. Another gruff voice spoke up. "what aliases are we to use this time?" "well, from what our sources gather, they have pretty much given up their worship of the old gods, we will appear to them as we did before, but this time we shall use the name they will readily accept us by... Aliens" The voice bellowed haughtily, he had always loved to be the center of attention and this time was no different. "what of our children, they can never return to the form that they once were... " came a bitter voice. There were angry grunts in agreement across the cavern. "The humans made new bodies for them, not of flesh and blood, but of metal" the voice said gleefuly. These mortals had no idea what they were setting themselves up for. With their technical "advancements" such as artificial intelligence and the opening stargates they believe they are one step closer to enlightenment. In reality, they are going back to their Atlantian roots. They believed it was for their own benefit, but they had constantly proven themselves unworthy to yeild such advancements and made them in order for the "gods" to comfortably rule them. The Watchers had never truly cared for the wellbeing of humanity in any case, it was all a facad, a means to an end that saught to have mankind under their rule. There were shouts and claps from amongst the beings in approval, finally their time had come. To end the war aginst the seed of the woman and the seed of the serpant once and for all.
