The next 4 days at home went by quicker than the two of them would like. The Thunder seemed to have a renewed sense of purpose and won both home games putting them up 3 games to 1 in the series. Game 5 on Wednesday loomed on the horizon. Nick still insisted he be allowed to stay and miss the game. “It isn’t an elimination game.” He argued. “Honey, you have to go and you know it.” They went back and forth like this for a little while tangled up in each other arms after making love on Monday night.
