Chapter 22
Tuesday passed like any normal day, minus not getting to see Nick. They had texted and spoke throughout the day. The team had landed and got checked in with no problems. However, Quebec had pulled a fast one on the ice times. A “scheduling error” occurred and the team had only had a 1 hour practice. Nick said Collson was fit to be tied. When Raegan finally looked up from her work, the clock said 8pm. It was time to call it a night. Nick was going to call her after the team meal and she wanted to be home so the conversation was more private. She packed up her briefcase and headed toward the door of her office. As soon as she opened it Brandon Long was by her side. “I’m ready to call it a night.” She told him. “I will call Charlie. He should be at the entrance by the time we reach it.”
