Alexander's POV
The battle against the rogues was very unexpected and the academy suffered huge losses. The arena was filled with blood and the dead bodies of wolves from both sides. Elias, my beta, has just told me that King Edward has summoned me to his palace. To think that I have to meet with the king I so much dislike after just discovering about my mate annoyed me. I have spent the past few minutes searching around for her but she's no where to be found and I can't even catch her scent.
"What does he want?" I ask Elias.
Elias sighed deeply. He is totally aware of my dislike of the king and somehow, it also made him dislike him.
"Probably something about what has just happened." Elias replied.
