I was already on my guard, fully at alert, ready to fight whoever it is that wants to pop up again as a threat. I glanced at Adele and saw her blushing, I got confused. Why would she be blushing when we're under deep threat?
"Why are you smiling?" I texted, hitting her before she could even compose herself well enough to read the text.
