Khloe's POV
"Is Dion here?" Kaden asked me as I opened the door. He was not who I expected to see and I was feeling a bit nervous.
I shook my head to answer his question and he took it.
"You look beautiful by the way." Kaden said and left before I could say anything. I felt my cheeks flush at his remark. I felt seen now.
I closed the door, continued with the book but I kept reading the same line over and over. My heart kept beating fast. I was anticipating Alexander's arrival so hard that it took all of my concentration. He was all I could think about. I picked up my phone to text Adele when her text entered.
"Got there safe. Have some fun like I also will." The text read with too many eggplant emojis. I smiled at the message.
