Alexander's POV
When I woke up, Khloe was no longer beside me. She left a good morning note before leaving for classes. Being with me in the hospital and having my scent on her was enough to raise suspicion, not to talk of staying with me in the hospital and missing a class because of it.
"She literally just left twenty minutes ago." Elias said, entering the room. He met me reading the note Khloe had left for me. "And how do you feel?"
"Better." I responded, standing up and cracking my knuckles. "The presence of Khloe does wonders for real."
I felt new, rejuvenated, rebirthed. I felt stronger.
"Coffee?" Elias offered and I took the cup from him and downed the content.
"How about the asshole that was so intent on ending me?" I asked as I wore the fresh clothes Elias had brought me.
