Alexander's POV
The drive back to the Stormbringer pack house was silent. The car engines were silent as if they were in the same confusion that we were all in.
"Everyone wait." I said, immediately I alighted the car. The pack gathered round me, waiting to listen to me.
"We have to be on our guard from now on." I said and they nodded in agreement. "This dark alpha can be anyone and we must be vigilant."
I took a very deep sigh before continuing.
"My mind is partly convinced about the truth of the Nexus. After all, I'm a myth myself." I said. "So, we now have more missions apart from keeping the academy safe."
They all sighed, taking in the new responsibilities.
"We have to find the Nexus and also be on the lookout for the dark alpha." I said and they nodded.
