Preface
This book delves into the harsh realities faced by individuals living in obscurity, grappling with life-and-death struggles that often go unnoticed by the wider world. I am sincerely grateful for the opportunity to articulate these experiences through words. The character Fang serves as a poignant representation of the suffering endured by many, while Kim symbolizes a judgmental world where hasty decisions are made without a full understanding of the complexities surrounding an individual's circumstances.
The narrative sheds light on the frequent occurrence of these incidents, highlighting them as a significant societal concern. What remains disheartening is the lack of inquiry into the victim's perspective during unwarranted punishment. Acts of torture, abuse, violence, rape, or even murder for sheer pleasure persist, yet the prevailing judgmental culture tends to cast blame on the victim. There is a tendency to insinuate that the victim somehow provoked or lured their assailant, especially when dealing with young individuals incapable of understanding the gravity of their situation.
This book aims to challenge this judgmental culture, questioning the expectations placed on victims, especially young children who are unfairly accused of seduction. Society often passes judgment without a comprehensive understanding of what these individuals are truly enduring. Some react to these circumstances in ways that, unfortunately, cost the world nothing but result in the permanent loss of their loved ones' invaluable assets.
