Meet The Cast

I entered the room where the official casting of ''The Untamed" will be held. I waited two weeks for this because the audition didn't stop there, we also tried another round until the final decision was made.
I roamed my eyes trying to look for familiar faces. Luckily, Zhoucheng also got qualified for the role of "Jiang Wanyin", so I bet this series will be fun.
"Over here, Mr. Xiao!"
Mister Feng approached me. He is one of the script writers of the drama.
I smiled and walked over there.
I showed my respect by bowing to everyone there and they also bowed in return.
"Okay, since we're now complete. Let us introduce one another to create a friendly atmosphere, yeah?"
We all agreed to Mr. Feng.
I sat down beside Cheng.
"Let's start with our main actors, you can introduce yourselves now."
Mr. Feng looked at me.
"Good day everyone! I am Xiao Zhan. I'll be portraying Wei Wuxian. I hope we all get along.''
I gave my biggest smile. They all clapped. At least, my nervousness is reducing now.
"Hello! I am Wang Yibo, portraying Lan Wangji. Nice to meet you all."
I looked at him and gave my professional smile. He doesn't seem to smile at me.
Maybe he's shy. I snorted. Or arrogant?
The introduction went on as the other actors Introduced themselves. I also found Miss Xuan Lu there, she'll be portraying Jiang Yanli, Wei Wuxian's Shijiè. I felt happy at least I thought that we already shared some conversations before so I'll be comfortable working with her.
As a matter of fact, any actor or actress I worked with is fine, I don't mind at all.
What bothers me is that Wang Yibo over there. Is he in 'in-character mode' right now? Why does he looked so cold?
The introductions were over, and the assistant director asked us to get ready for our initial photoshoot.
The staff lead us to our dressing room. All our costumes are there.
"Mr. Xiao, are you ready?"
The stylist asked.
"Yep!"
I sat down on the chair. I noticed that Yibo is already there.
"What's up, yow? Are you excited for this series? Have you read the script already?"
I blurted. I just know that he'll never take the initiative to talk to me first.
"Mn."
Wow.
I asked three questions and he answered me with just an 'Mn'. This man seemed so busy looking at his phone.
Is he chatting with her girlfriend?
I wondered. Since he doesn't want to talk to me, I NEED TO DO SOMETHING.
I took my phone and *click*.
He didn't noticed! One more time hehehe
I took another shot and *click*.
He quickly turned at me and furrowed his brows.
"Did you just take a picture of me?"
I acted innocent looking like I'm busy with my phone.
Huh, now you've noticed me.
I quietly grinned.
*Click*
I turned around at him too and he looks busy too with his phone.
"Did you just take a picture of me?"
I repeated his question.
He didn't respond.
Acting innocent huh.
I took my phone again and take a picture of him, but before I can click it, he also pointed his phone at me.
"Gotcha!"
He blurted. We both laughed at our insanity.
"May I see your shot?"
I moved closer to him. I peeked at his phone and he let me see my face.
"Why is my face like that? You zoomed it too much."
Yibo laughed.
"That's cute though."
I rolled my eyes.
"Where's mine?"
He asked. I looked at him and raised my brow.
"No, I deleted it."
"Aww"
I grinned as his face looked displeased.
"Mr. Xiao, let's work on your hairdo okay?"
The stylist quietly said. I nodded and let her do my hair.
"Is this your first time leading a historical series?"
He asked.
"Not so, I already have some lead roles before. How about you? What made you audition in this drama?''
He looked like thinking.
"Honestly, I have a pretty good reason why I auditioned in this."
He looked at me intently.
"Oh, why?"
I curiously asked.
"I like to impress someone."
He smiled and looked away.
He's flirty huh? Does he know what's his role in this drama? He should be loyal and upright, only setting his eyes on Wei Ying.
I didn't respond and faced the mirror. My hair and makeup are done. I stood up and changed my clothes.
I smiled looking at myself.
"Perfect!"
I grinned.
After changing, we went to the photoshoot area and wait for our turns.
"Zhan! Let's take a picture!"
Cheng grabbed me.
"Yeah, come on."
I took out my phone and took a picture.
"One more time!"
He exclaimed. Ms. Xuan Lu also joined us.
I am satisfied with our picture.
This will be the start of something new, I really hoped everything will be well.
