Partner or Posesssion

Chapter 2

"We have to let them stay for the time being." I tell my three friends. "Even if it's just for the time being. But no one is mating with anyone until we speak to the council and the Moon Goddesses messenger, do I make myself clear?" 

"Yes Alpha." Charlie and Luka respond.

"Marco?" I growl.

"Yes, Alpha. But can I suggest they stay somewhere else other than this house?" Marco gulps. Whilst we are both unmated, he always seems to struggle with temptation. Always been a dangerous game to play with my Beta, but I nod my head.

"I'll ask them to move to one of the cottages in the forest, close enough to keep an eye, but far enough it will protect both sides."

He nods with relief, linking with a few omegas to set it all into effect immediately. 

"Do you think there are many more foxes?" Luka asks. It's a question I had thought myself, legends and myths is what they had been for years.

"I'm not sure, but I'm going to go find out."

"Come in." A gentle voice calls before we can even knock on the door. Entering I take in the scene in front of me. All three are lounging on the bed, sandwiches devoured, faces all staring at us expectantly.

Clearing my throat I speak first. "We've decided to let you stay. But we would prefer it in a cottage in the forest." All three of them nod.

"We may have some visitors coming." Keegan looks up at me with a slight sign of fear in her eyes. "I have linked the four other foxes, including the one who reports directly to the Goddess. They're arriving in a couple of days." She answered my question, but left me needing to ask more. Marco beats me to it.

"Sorry, did you say REPORTS DIRECRTLY?" the idea of this to all of us is incredulous.

"Foxes actually serve a purpose so we have a different connection, it's not as weird as it sounds." Frankie takes over at that point. "We do need to warn you though, Tyson, she's not exactly what you would think someone with that amount of power is like."

"You think my fox is small, it's huge compared to hers."

"And you need to pay attention to what colour she becomes when she shifts."

"And no loud noises. She'll fight until the death, but she can be timid." 

"And her human form doesn't like to be touched,"

I can see Luka and Marco's head spinning.

"Oh and you might want to phone the council and get them to attend."

"Yeah because foxes normally only mate with omegas."

"Do you all want to shut up." I finally decide to take control back. " Tyson, was it? I'll make sure they are safe and comfortable, I do not want to piss of the Moon Goddess in any way shape or form, so don't worry about that. The council will be coming in three days, and from there, we will know more of what to do."

with nod of their heads in unison, I turn around and leave.

It's going to be a long couple of days.
