I hadn’t been prepared for her calling me ‘daddy’ and had to fight the urges it brought out in me. This was earlier than I wanted to have this talk. Juniper was always pulling my plans forward.
Framing the conversation was going to be important. I didn’t want her to feel guilty or dirty when we were together. I loved her too much to let this hurt us.
“If you get uncomfortable with this discussion, let me know.” I said softly.
“Okay, Jaxon.”
“I liked it when you called me ‘daddy’. I don’t want you to think I’m only accepting it. You’re my sweet girl and I want a relationship where you’re comfortable with everything. I believe you when you say you weren’t thinking of him. I do have one concern, and it’s that you might worry about me being like him.” I told her carefully.
