Jaxon took me down to our apartment. He was pretty quiet. I wondered if he’d heard anything or if he was just suspicious. Teddy would be calling in the next few hours to yell at me. I didn’t really need the nerves building.
We went into the bedroom and I laid on the bed while he gathered things. I made a decision. I’d tell Jaxon about the company on Monday as well. Of course, I had to run it by Teddy. Jaxon couldn’t keep a secret.
He came back and set up what he needed. That look was on his face. Jaxon was thinking of what he wanted to say. His father said he’d asked him not to upset me.
“I had a nice talk with your dad. He said you get your inability to keep a secret from your mother.” I giggled.
