The Girl Who Can't Sleep

Prologue

*Yawn~

It's already 8:30 in the evening and here I am staring at the night sky while walking in the street. I can see the stars continuously twinkling and the moon shining brightly, painting the dark sky with utter serenity.

I stretch my neck and twist my arms to erase the sleepiness creeping in my head. My mom ask me to buy some things and other toiletries for tomorrow. Since the store was only a few meters away from our house I decided to just walk and feel the cold breeze brushing past my face, slowly easing my mind and vanishing my worries.

I continue to walk, somehow the freezing wind starts to chill my bones so I decided to fasten my pace. Soon I got to our house, I don't know why but I suddenly get tired maybe because of stress or maybe because the problems and pressure in life are slowly invading my sanity.

I wash my face and look at the mirror in front of me. I can see my brownish eyes staring back at me. My face? It is utterly average,  I have a face who can easily blend into any crowd. I shake my head to erase all my thoughts and decided to get a goodnight sleep. I walk towards my room and shut the wooden door close.

"Aaargghh!!"

Gosh! I abruptly sit up. Why can't I sleep? I scratch my head because I don't know the reason why my eyes cannot freaking close!

I'm left dumbfounded.

I force my eyes to settle down. I lay my body on the typical bed here in my typical room. The four corners of the room are silent, so I concentrate again and condition my body to sleep but soon I realized that my insomnia strikes in and it would not let me sleep so I just decided to stay awake. Due to boredom, I choose to sneak out this evening and let my body feels the ecstacy brought by freedom! I can now feel my body shaking with excitement!

I stretch my limbs lightly and popped my bones in the finger continuously. I inhale and exhale deeply to remove any unnecessary thoughts in my head. Now I know I'm ready!

For the next moment I know I will be soon entering that world.

My head suddenly feels light and soon my vision darkens shortly.

"So I am here now huh!"

Looks like this world doesn't change that much .I look around the area and I can now see different kinds of things that you can only see in books. Things that people deemed impossible were possible here! Here your imagination is your limit, as long as you have brain you can do whatever you want!

With my thinking ability, I already built a small castle of mine and a beautiful garden full of blooming flowers that does not wilt. I also create my new pet, which is a snow white wolf with a fur that makes you cuddle it just by touching its soft body. Right now I am working with a new project which is to make a pond full of small fishes that varies in color.

Sigh! this world surely has it's own wonders that instantly calm my tensed nerves.

This world surely has no limitations, and that's because it's my own world.

My own world where problems, pressure and struggles are only considered as a myth. Where everything is under control. Where my happiness lies in and especially where reality doesn't exist.
