Nico and Sam had left early this morning. They decided to join the warriors this morning for training.
I figured that it was time to call Gabriella and Piper. I’d been avoiding the phone call because I wasn’t really sure how they would react. What if Gabrielle hated me? Thought that I was disgusting, just like Colson did?
And then there was the thought of disappointing Piper. She’d welcomed me with open arms when I got here. She was kind to me when I was struggling and understanding when I needed it. I had left her with no phone call. Text. Nothing. Just left.
Grabbing my phone from the drawer in the nightstand, I noticed the battery was low and decided to take a shower while it charged. The phone call could wait another thirty minutes.
