“I’m glad you think so,” he whispered, sitting down on the blanket. Both Sam and I joined him as he began pulling out a bottle of chilled wine and three glasses. I crawled towards the flowers, admiring their beauty. The lilies were so fragrant, I wanted to bathe in the scent. Delicately running my fingers along petals, I felt a warmth spread through my body. He found beautiful flowers, surrounding the picnic with all white except for the single crimson poppy.
