Chance's POV
I had no clue what the hell kind of trouble I was about to face, but if Chase was actually calling out for help, then I knew that it had to be pretty bad, because he wasn’t the brother that ever asks for help, especially from me. It didn’t take long for my wolf to pick up onto Chase’s trail, leading me straight down the side of the mountain towards town, back in the direction I had just come from.
If I thought the mountain was hard to climb, it was even harder trying to make my way down it with its loose rocks that lined its sides, making me realize how my uncle had stayed hidden among the pack for so long. Thankfully, my wolf was not just any wolf, but an Alpha wolf, digging his paws deeply within the bed of rocks, finding the traction he needed to get us safely to the bot
