Walking past Raven to my grandmother, I leaned down, placing a kiss on her cheek, before I apologized to her, by saying, “I am sorry grandmother, but I must steal my mate from your presence.” A soft smile slowly formed on my grandmother’s face, as I turned towards Raven, who stared at me with widened eyes from my confession to my grandmother.
