Raven’s POV
Even though our little drive was somewhat what I needed to distract my mind, I knew all good things must come to an end, especially when I looked down at the oversized black tee shirt I was still wearing. Realizing that I had miraculously recovered from the attack, and that I needed a change of clothes, we headed to my grandmother’s house as the evening was coming to an end, while night was soon going to fall upon us.
Pulling off the main road, Cash drove my car slowly up the lane, making me instantly notice how smooth the lane was. With everything that had happened, I had totally forgotten that he and Chance had worked all day on fixing my grandmother’s lane, but driving up it right now, it was clear just how much work and effort the two had put into fixing it for me.
