"Excuse me," Baldwin says when his phone rings, leaving me in my office. It's been hours since we started looking for Lee but we haven't found him. Dan returned after losing sight of the car he was following in the traffic and there hasn't been any message or hint from the person that messaged Baldwin earlier.
The door opens and Baldwin walks in, "She's gone too."
"What?" I say, silently hoping he doesn't mention her name.
"Roseline is not at the hospital, Kate says she's gone."
"f**k!" I yell, smacking the top of my desk.
"Kate left her bedside and drove home to freshen up but didn't find her when she returned," Baldwin says.
"Has the entire hospital been checked?" I ask, pacing the room now, "she could be anywhere, the bathroom, the cafeteria...anywhere."
