There is news all over the internet about a shooting at an airport in Las Vegas. According to the news and the pictures, there were two casualties and one of them was Linda. The shooter wasn't caught on airport footage and the FBI is still looking into the matter.
"Have you read about the shooting in Las Vegas?" I ask Liam as he drives us to Mateo's casino in California. Earlier today, he asked if he could take me to his favorite casino–dualistic casino–and I agreed, pretending not to know the place.
"I just saw a headline, What is it about?" he asks.
"Two people were shot yesterday, neither died."
"That's some crazy s**t," he says, parking in the parking lot of the casino. It's crazy how, unlike the casino at Las Montez, this one is not hidden from public view.
