ROSELINE
Today started like any other day, I got up early in the morning to prepare for school and left Mateo in bed when Louis came to pick me up. Sophie was in the car park waiting for me when I arrived and we spent the day together until Mateo came to pick me up from school. We went to the casino but didn't stay long because Kate wasn't there to keep me company and Baldwin was busy so we drove to our usual restaurant and had a meal before driving to our suite.
It's crazy how we wake up not knowing the one thing that will change our lives. I started my day not knowing it would end up being the day I reunite with my mother who I thought had died in Hurricane Matthew.
Mother and I stare at each other, both frozen in time before the elevator door closes taking her to an upper storey.
