Wolf Town

857 Words
I sit there in shock. Shaking. Crying. A werewolf?! I have been kidnapped by a werewolf? THE OGRE IS A WEREWOLF. He takes a step forward reaching to grab my arm and I scream. I lost it and screamed, crab walking backwards until I am able to feel my legs again so I can run.  The ogre growls which shut me up real quick. “Sam, shut the f**k up. You are on seriously thin ice, I am barely keeping my cool as is.” He reached for me again, yanking my arm and practically dragging my staggering body back to the car. Throwing me in the passenger seat, he slams the door and makes his way around the car. I just sit there in shock, staring forward, my hair covering my face on the sides as much as possible. Trembling. “H-How do you know my name?” I finally got out as he started to drive again. “It was in your file, some one has been watching you for a while. I am just here to pick up and deliver. You can call me Seth.” “Who has been watching me?” “One of the guys from the pack I guess. The Alpha wouldn't trust this mission with just anyone.” “Alpha?? So....it's true. Yo-Your kind is re-real?” “Yep, and you better get used to it. We are easy to anger and just your presence is going to tick some people off.” “Where are you taking me Seth?” “To the Red Baron Pack, now shut up. I've already said and shown too much. And I'm sure the Alpha is going to kill me before we even make it to the house for doing so.” We drove for 3 more hours in complete silence. Seth pulled out a bag of chips from the glove compartment and threw it at me. I'm still starving but I am also just too nervous to eat. For the first time since our encounter in the forest, Seth made a right turn onto a dirt road. There was nothing but trees for miles. And then, it was open fields and town houses everywhere. I would have never thought after such dense woods there could be so much space and a whole freaking town here. There were people all about. Some seemed like they were working in the fields, others were fighting combat, or that's what it looked like. Then there were kids playing in the dirt. It is almost peaceful seeing so many smiling faces and laughter from people, I almost forgot what situation I was in. I start to loosen my tightened and exhausted muscles as I watched the townspeople we drove passed. Until I looked forward and back at Seth, who looked at me disapprovingly. We drove up to this large house, or should I say mansion Seth pulled up front and parked. “You don't move, don't look at anyone and don't say anything or you WILL have to deal with me. And let me be very clear, I am not afraid to hit a woman. Do you understand?” I just nod looking at my feet that sat at the floor of the car. “I want to hear you say it, Sam.” "I understand.” Seth seems like a prick. I was just forced out of my home in the middle of the night, scared too death. I was punched in the face for just defending myself, just found out werewolves exist and now I'm expected to just sit and take what's coming for me, HELL NO! Whatever fear I had now has festered into anger and determination. I am on their territory so I have to play it smart but I will cause a scene before I get into that house. It's possible that the townspeople don't know that I'm not here by choice, maybe they will try to help or feel sympathy towards me. Seth opened his door and immediately got a phone call. He stepped out of the car grunting and answered it, slamming the door behind him. He took a few steps away from the car arguing with someone on the phone. 'This is my moment.' I said to myself, I have to try. Quietly opening the door, I stuck my feet out onto the dirt road. The second I stood, my fight or flight adrenaline started to pump again and I was gone. I really thought I was going to make it around the corner of the house unseen. As I was in full sprint, I swung my head around to see that Seth hadn't even noticed me gone yet. Suddenly, I hit a brick wall while I was turning my head back forwards. I was at a complete stop, holding my head from the whiplash. Looking up, I didn't hit the house, I hit a man! A shirtless man. He had to be at least 6'2, light perfectly tanned skin and black spiky hair. He looked down at me while I gawked at how beautiful this man is.
