Landon got out of the bed so fast put his pants on and his shoes and just stood there “She’s my mate I can’t and won’t leave her, I’m sorry” And just as I saw my mother about to cast a spell and I saw her hands go up, I jumped in front of my mate. My mother was telling me to move but I couldn’t. He was mine and he was made for me. “I can’t do that mom, he’s my mate he was made for me from the moongoddess herself, I won’t let you take him away from me” and then she spit out “hes a vampire!” like it was some type of insult. My Father took my mom and aunt down stairs and calmed them down. My father mind linked me telling me it was safe for us to come downstairs. So we did we went downstairs and talked about what would happen from here. “You will both be moving to North Carolina with us there will be no more talk about this, do I make myself clear?” and the only thing I could think was “After graduation, its next week!”  Landon looked at me and my parents and said “That’s fine with me as long as I get to stay with my mate, I was abandoned when I was born and I have been in the foster system since” it absolutely broke my heart hearing that.
