The fallout of the departed (Greys POV)

701 Words
She isn't texting me back, Damn! I didn't expect to have two mates. There was never any competition. Sophia would win. She doesn't think so though, she was expecting me to reject her, like I'd do that to her, she's stunning, she's mine. I heard someone banging on the door. I went to see what was going on. "Where the hell is she? You've got ten seconds before I destroy this place". It was Sophia's brother. What the hell. "What's going on?" I asked. Sophia's brother came right into my face while he sent his idiots to roam around my home. "I'm giving you 5 seconds to get your mutts out of my house"! I'm beyond furious. "Give me my damn sister back!" he said. What is he on about? "Sophia isn't here and if she was, you'd be able to pick up her scent" "Matt, she isn't here". So her brothers name is Matt. He didn't look happy. "Matt is it? Can you let me know what's going on?". He looked at me annoyingly. "Well, you big jerk, She left the pack, We can't find her, all we found was this stupid note left for you, My father has made it my responsibility to find her, so if you know where she is, you best tell us". I ignored him after he said she'd gone. Where the hell is my Queen. I open the note: Grey. I'll make this easy for you, I know we haven't known each other for long, but thank you for being my friend. I knew that I'd never be the one you choose, so I made it easier for you. I wish you all the happiness. She's really pretty. You can reject me, Ill feel all the pain, it'll be my reminder you existed. I won't reject you, it'll make me feel closer to you. You're worth the pain. Even though you're not mine, I'm glad you were my mate. All my love. Sophia. She...She left. I couldn't contain the tears. The pain. My girl. My baby girl. I call my Dad pronto, he comes quickly. "Dad, I need you to give me ten of your best wolves". "What's going on?" he asked. I wasn't in any type of mood for this. I keep it simple. I explained that Sophia was my mate, but so was another and now she's gone. He saw how desperate I was to find her. I'd go to hell and back to find her. Sophia where are you? Of course I tried to call and text. The phone is off. She's being smart. Dad did as I asked without question, he knew in my face that I had to find this girl. It is not surprising that she left, for the brief week that I met her, everyone treated her like dirt. I'm guessing she thinks I'm going to reject her and choose the other girl. I understand why she left, to me though, she's worth it, I'd rather reject the other girl than her. Sophia I know in my bones is the one. My wolf agrees. He's going nuts over the fact our mate has left. He needs to find her NOW. Of course I didn't sit at home, I was out looking for her too. I even went back to her old pack, against my better judgment, the assholes couldn't care less, which made me angry especially her parents. They just had no remorse I realized that this wasn't the time to argue with them, I'd do that when I'm finally the Alpha, then I will make sure they go through hell just like they put Sophia through, although I spoke to one sweet girl who said she knows Sophia has a favourite spot in the mountains. She'd always wanted to go there but was refused. This little girl also explained how she was denied playing with Sophia and that she loved Sophia like a big sister. I understood completely. I promised her I'd find her. Maybe she's gone there, hoping she is, that's my next stop. My wolf hunter won't stop screaming "mate, mate, mate" in my head. I'll find her hunter, I promise, I told him.
