AADEN POV- YEAR 202

“She was attacked with poisonous arrows. The poison is deadly. But we’ll be able to control it with the medicine and meals I have instructed to prepare because of the poison has not spread yet. But we must keep a keen eye on her situation. This situation is very risky because she is pregnant.”

‘What? My Aaliyah is pregnant with our child? But what if our souls swapped again? Will we have to leave our baby alone here? Will original Fiona and Aaliyah take care of our child as their own? s**t! My head is going to burst with these thoughts.’

“Son”

I move away from my wonderland because of the Empress’s soothing voice. She rubs my head lovingly making me more longing to have this motherly love.

“Mother, I fail my love. I fail to protect my love, who is bearing my love.”

I open my heart unlike ever before. After my parents killed, I was a closed person till I met Aaliyah. Aaliyah was the only person I feel comfortable in sharing my thoughts, till now.

“Shh………. Don’t be like this son. Mother and father cannot see you like this. Our Fiona has the blessings of this Nation and nothing will happen to Fiona and our baby. I and Aliena will take care of Fiona. Go and punish the people who try to harm the Crown Princess of the Nation.”

She is exactly liking my Aaliyah. Loving and caring to the people who deserve it and other side she is ‘Kali ma’ to the people who deserve it.

“I can’t leave her mother. I want to be here with her when she opens her eyes. I want to inform about this good news of us having a baby.”

The Empress gives me a loving smile and kiss on my forehead affectionately.

“Okay then I and your father will take care of it.”

I grab on her hand to stop her and her questioning eyes focus on me.

“Promise me. Whoever they are, they’ll be received death penalty. I’ll be the one that shoot them with fourteen poisonous arrows in tomorrow morning.”

I said while looking at both the Emperor and Empress. Empress look at the Emperor with a response, and he look at me promisingly.

“Of course, son. Whoever the culprit is, they’ll receive the mentioned punishment from you. They try to hurt the Crown Princess of the Nation who is bearing the Crown Prince’s first heir. We’ll come again. Till then look after our Fiona and unborn grandchild.”

After a few minutes, the two nurses come again with the meals, and medicines. One of the nurses carefully drop the medicines from one bowl into Aaliyah’s mouth by using a spoon. After bowing to myself, the other nurse begins to talk.

“Your highness, her highness will gain conscious in next few minutes. Royal doctor instructs us to feed this meal after she gain conscious, and then these medicines. We’ll be wait outside. Can you please inform us when her highness gets conscious?”

“I’ll take care of her. You two may go to your chambers.”

From the nurses’ expressions I can see that, they don’t want to leave Aaliyah without giving them proper medicine. Seems like they do not trust me to take care of my Aaliyah.

“Someone instructed you two to not to leave Fiona alone with me, right? Who is he?”

Their eyes widen with the surprise confirming my suspect.

“We beg your pardon your highness. We were reluctant to leave because it is our assigned duty to take care of her highness.”

They will not reveal me about that person. So, I decide to change my method and allow the nurses to leave and order one of the Prince Alvin’s guards to follow them. After they leave, I take Aaliyah’s hand in mine and kiss on the back of her arm.

Her fingers tightened the grip around my hand making my heart to flutter with happiness.

“A-a-d-e-n P-l-e-a-s-e d-o-n’t c-r-y”

Aaliyah’s words make me realize that I was crying. This is the first time, I cried after the death of my parents. I hug her back to my chest from the left side after helping her to sit without hurting her wound more.

“The doctor instructs me to feed you this meal and medicines when you gain conscious. Let’s have it, okay?”

I inquire from her while rubbing her stomach where our baby is. I can’t tell her this news as soon as she gains conscious, and her to be stress about our future. So, I’ll tell her about our baby later.

“Water….. Give me some water first.”

As per her wish, I make her drink some water and then feed her the meal bit by bit. Then I make her have the medicines lest by the nurses. 

“Love, how do you feel now?”

“Better. I was afraid that I may have to leave you here alone.”

Before I respond to her confession, the door to our chambers open without asking our permission. Both of us turn our heads to see the intruder and my blood begins boil in anger when I saw the intruder. It is Sofia, who looks like Rachel. Prince Alvin’s guards and maids come following her and bow to us.

“Prince Alvin, how can you do this to my family and me? At the beginning you make my mother get arrested and now my brother. Because of this witch, you are hurting your family.”

Her words ignite my anger. I know she is also coming behind power like Rachel. So, I signal Prince Alvin’s guards to arrest her. As soon as they receive my signal, they grab her from both sides.

“Leave me. I said leave me. How dare you to touch me?”

Sofia screams angrily while trying to get free from the guards’ hold.

“Shut up! I’m the one that ordered them to arrest you. How dare you to come to my chambers without my permission? You’ll get twenty whips for coming to my chambers without my permission, and another thirty for talking to the crown princess like this. And for your mother and brother……….
