AALIYAH POV

Our romance disturbs by Ronald’s words.

“I’m sorry Aaliyah. I’m sorry Aaden. I’m the culprit. I’m the one that planned all these things. I even forced Rachel to connect with me. leave her and our child away for this. I’ll repay my doings.”

‘This fool has audacity to fool two of us more?’

With that thought, I look at him while moving away from my embrace with Aaden.

“Oh! Very sorry to pop up your bubble Ronald. From the beginning, you two together plans to marry us for wealth. You two together even plan to kill us exact on our wedding day. After planning all these things, you still have audacity ask for forgiveness? We are not saints to forgive culprits, who try to kill us for wealth. We’ll make you pay. You two may get release after a few years, but you two will never get a job in this continent. We’ll make sure it.”

After the police take away hand cupped Ronald and Rachel, Ronald’s parents come near to me.

“Liyah, we were not aware of any of these things. Very sorry for what happen.”

Ronald’s father said to me while gently rubbing on my hair.

“You may be stating truth. But you two and my parents are also responsible in this. If you two, at least my parents search about Ronald’s love life these things will never happen in this way. No, but you guys want be to marry your child to another child with the family status of yours. Disgusting!”

I know my words hurt four of them, specially my parents. But I’m doing this to, avoid them from opposing to my wedding with Aaden.

“Liyah, we are very sorry darling. I know, as you said previously a sorry cannot change anything. If you were not informed about his at the right time, we’ll lose you.”

Saying that, dad kisses me on my forehead and hug me to him which I return.

My dad says while making me away from him and putting my right hand on Aaden’s.

My dad pats his back gently with a loving smile on his lips.

The words say by my dad pointing me and Aaden make me surprise. I look at my dad for more clarification.

Next few hours were spent, making me and Aaden ours legally. After all the guests left, I and Aaden get changed to go for our honeymoon.

But before that, both of us are anxious to know about my dad’s revealing about knowing Aaden from childhood. So, we two decide to delay our trip for an hour and now waiting for the arrival of parents.

Aaden says while moving his lips here and there on my bare shoulder. I’m on his lap while his chest presses tightly to my back.

“See….. This why that, I told you guys that, we can discuss this after you came from your honeymoon trip.”

My dad's voice brings us away from our world and I try to stand up away from Aaden’s lap. But, he refuses to let me go.

My father gives us a photo which includes my parents, me and my childhood friend AD and his parents. Tears pool into my eyes because I recollect the memories of their death.

“Oh! My god! That’s why I feel so much connected to Aaliyah when I see her. She is my barbie. When I see her at first time on our first day of preschool, I kiss her on lips, and claimed that she is mine. She hugs me happily and said that I’m yours and you are mine. From that day to primary school we were together till the accident of my family.”

I turn around his lap till I can face to face him and put my face into his chest. Tears pour from my eyes.

“I thought that, you died with your parents. I thought that I lost you. I’m so glad that you are alive.”

“Yeah! I know. I felt same without you.”

Aaden says while kissing on my hair lovingly.

“The accident was not an accident. It was a murder. At the last moment of his life, your father asks me to let the world know that, you also died from the accident. So, I place a child’s body as yours and moved you to the childcare’s center because your father asked me to do so. He asked me not to adopt you to our family and do not contact you directly because it will cause the culprits to identify you. But, I was watching you till now. I’m the one that fund your education and needs.”

He asks while making me to stand up from his lap and standing up too.
