AALIYAH POV- Year 2020
After getting dressed as a bride my phone rang indicating a call from Aaden.
“Hello love? Are you ready?”
His affectionate voice made my heart flutter with happiness.
“Yes, of course”
“Before reciting wedding oaths, I’ll be there with Rachel and our invitees. Be careful love. Bye.”
“Bye. I love you.”
“I love you too.”
After a few minutes later, my father came to walk me to aisle where my wedding is scheduling to happen. At this moment, I’m walking hand in hand with my father towards Ronald who is waiting for me with the priest.
When we walk near the wedding stage, Ronald walks towards us with a sweet smile on his face and my father put my hand on Ronald’s hand with a smile. This bastard! He holds my hand in his lightly and direct me towards the priest.
When the priest asks himself whether he accepts me as his wife, he loudly exclaimed as ‘I do’ causing me to smirk.
Then the priest inquires from me whether I accept him as my husband. I look at Ronald’s eyes directly and respond.
“No, I don’t. I’ll never marry a man who is planning to kill me on the way to our honeymoon. Then take my wealth and live happily with his pregnant girlfriend.”
People present in the wedding hall begin to talk with each other while Ronald looks at me with terror. He has more to become terror. This is only the trailer.
“Liyah, what are you talking about?”
My father inquires while grabbing from my left arm tightly.
“Oh! Calm down father. You also should take responsible about this too. According to you, the only qualification to marry me is to be a doctor. You did not search any background detail about him. You blindly trust this friend and his bastard son. I’ll never forget this matter. You guys try to play with the wrong person.”
My parents and Ronald’s parents; specially my father look at me with a bewildered expression. I know, it must be because, I have never talked to my parents like this. Before my father said anything, the entrance door to the hall opens and Aaden walks inside while following by crying Rachel and many other people grabbing the attention of the people present in the wedding. She grabs on to Aaden’s right arm and begins to cry. Faking b***h!
“Why are you doing this? How can you stop our wedding on our wedding day? How the hell am I going to face the world? Please Aaden you can’t do this to me. please don’t behave this much heartless. At least tell me the reason you stopped this wedding.”
Aaden shakes his hand causing Rachel to drop onto floor. Her hand automatically goes to her stomach.
‘At least she cares about her baby.’
Ronald runs to her, and helps her to stand up.
‘Oh! He also cares about Rachel.’
The silence in the hall was broken by Roland’s caring voice.
“Baby, are you okay? Is our baby okay? Are you hearting anywhere?”
Seems like they forget that, they are acting innocent. This is going better than I thought. After confirming about Rachel being okay, Ronald look at Aaden angrily.
“How dare you to push her like this?”
The words cause Aaden to laugh loudly.
“How dare me? Are you blind? I did not push her. She grabs onto my arm, and I free it from her because I don’t like to touch by dirt. You two dare to plan kill me and Aaliyah on today and still you have audacity to talk to me like an innocent?”
With Aaden’s words, Ronald comes to sense and lose his grip around Rachel’s and make a distance between them. Then look around the people, and his eyes meet mine.
“Aaliyah baby. It’s not what it looks like. I just try to make sure that she is good because she is my friend and I know about her being pregnant. As a doctor………………”
Before Ronald finish her sentence, I walk towards him and slap tightly.
“You son of b***h. You still try to fake your innocence. Are you trying to make sure about baby being okay like this too?”
I said while indicating Aaden to put the video to play. When the intimate scene and their planning to kill me and Aaden play on the large screen on wedding hall, both Rachel and Ronald go plain. It seems amazing to see their terrified faces.
As soon as the video end, I talk nonchalantly to Ronald again.
“So…..? is this a new method to make sure a baby being okay?”
“No no no Aaliyah. Baby, you must believe me. this video is a fake one. Surely, he wants to have you and your wealth. You have heard about him, right? He is a multimillionaire businessman who never leave things make him interest. I’m a doctor. A person who gives lives to others. He can even kill to achieve his target.”
Like he is trying to play his last card. Then I’ll give him another reason to get more terrified. Me be he get a heart attack. While I am walking towards Aaden, police come into the hall.
“Oh! You can tell all this to investigators in the police station. You two also can meet the assassins you two give contract to kill us in there. Also, the documents you guys made to take our wealth are on the hands of police now. And finally, for your kind information, yes, Aaden is interested in me and never leave me. Our wedding is going to perform here, without considering the opinions of anyone. Right darling?”
I said while putting my both arms around Aaden’s neck.
“Of course, love. No one matters to me except you.”
With that he kisses me intensely, tasting every corner of my mouth like in our first kiss on yesterday.
He leaves my lips after a few minutes and murmurs,
“You are so beautiful today wifey. At night, I’m going to eat you alive. You will not be able to have a blink of sleep.”
His words make me blush. Without expecting a response from me, he kisses me again.
