ROSE POV- Year 202
Our mansion is fill with the decorations and busy with the people who arrange activities for my b***h of step-sister Fiona with the crown princess of the Emperor. My father is the prime minister of the country and has married my mother with the consent of his parents.
According to my mother, my father has never loved her but has treated her respectfully as a husband should treat his wife. But, on the way to an occupational work, he has met Fiona’s mother who is from a noble families line than my mother and fell in love with her at the first sight. After she was conceived with Fiona, my father has made her his first concubine.
At this period, my mother also has conceived with me. Fiona is the Eldest of our family because she is three months elder than me. From my childhood, my father has spent most of his free time with Fiona and her mother. From the beginning Fiona was very competent than me, and she was an all rounder. This cause my father to give his attention to Fiona more. All the things I should have received were stolen by Fiona.
When her marriage with the crown prince of the Emperor was decided, we were only ten years. It made me furious. Always, why it has to be her? My mother was also furious. My mother give contract to the assassins to kill her, her mother and her mother’s family because I can replace her as the crown princess of the Empress. But Fiona survived. She was the only survivor. Her mother’s whole family was killed, leaving her all the fortune.
Although, there was no one to back up Fiona, she survived till now with the side support of our father and our grandmother.
‘Tomorrow! Ha ha ha…. Tomorrow is the last day that she’ll live. I and my mother has given contract to an Association of Assassins to kill Fiona tomorrow on her wedding with the crown prince of the Emperor. When she killed, I’ll take her place in the wedding, and will fulfil my long-time life goal to become the crown princess of the empress, who’ll be the next Empress of the Nation.’
With the train of thoughts, I have reached my destination, where I meet the crown prince of the Emperor-Alvin.
“Prince Alvin”
Saying that, I bow my head, saluting to him.
“Rose, this is not need. I have always said to you that, it is not needed when only two of us are there.”
He said while grabbing both my arms in his.
“Ah!”
I shout painfully because Alvin touches my burn wound on-hand, which causes because of morning tea. Ah! That’s it. I can use this to increase Alvin’s hatred towards Fiona more.
“Oh! My god. I’m sorry. What happens to your hand?”
As I expected, he inquires the reason for the wound, while removing the surrounding bandage.
“It’s nothing.”
I said while faking to take my hand away from his grip.
“Don’t try to fool me. this is a burned wound. Who did this? Is this cause by that b***h of woman Fiona?”
Ah! That’s it. Now he comes to the point.
“I can’t lie you anymore. This was done by Fiona. Because her morning tea was late, she did this.”
I said while faking my tears.
“Damn!”
He angrily hit on the tree with his bare hand causing his hand to bleed.
‘Woooow! This fool. How the hell like a man like this going to rule a nation? He believes every word stated by every time without investigating whether they are true or not?’
My thoughts were disturbed by Alvin.
“Wait till tomorrow. Then you’ll free from her torture, and her tortures will begin. I’ll return her the sins of her doings.”
He said while kissing affectionately on my hair, and then hug me to her.
“I’m very unlucky person prince Alvin. Fiona is robbing everything that should belong to me and there is nothing that I can do to prevent her. Tomorrow she’ll claim you as her husband. I’m going to lose my legal right to be yours. At which day will you claim me as your concubine?”
My words cause him to turn away from me. it seems like there is something wrong.
“What’s the matter Prince Alvin? Do you change your decision to at least making me your concubine?”
“No, it’s not that. My father and mother have made me to sign an oath stating that, I’ll not take any concubine till the first child of mine and Fiona’s born. This cause was occurred because of the conflict happen between me and Brandon to entitle as the Crown prince of the Emperor. Also, I’ll not able to take my position as the Emperor, till our first child is born.”
What the hell is he talking?
“So, you are saying is our love has no future anymore? You even did not try to tell about me to your parents?”
I inquired while trying to replace my anger with sadness.
“No, I’ve signed the oath on the day that mine and Fiona’s marriage was scheduled. I have forgotten it till yesterday. When I went to talk about making you my concubine, my parents remind about it. Also, my mother refuses to giving authority to make you as my concubine till she is the Empress. My parents have very bad imaged about you and your mother.”
‘s**t! What the hell is going to happen? I know that, the Empress despise me. but I did not think that she’ll reject me directly. What the damn hell I’m going to do?’
My thoughts were disturbed because Alvin hug me from behind.
“I know, I’m being unreasonable. But, please can you wait till my first child born?”
“I can wait for you till eternity. But, my parents will not allow me to do so. What happen if Fiona died or she is infertile?”
“According to the Oath, if Fiona died, I’m entitled to marry a noble woman selected by the parents. And Fiona is not infertile. My parents made both of us to meet the royal doctor and check our fertility before the Oath was signed.”
‘Double s**t! All my paths to be the Empress has so many obstacles. Fiona is the first one to removes because she and her mother is the reason that cause the Emperor and Empress to despise me and my mother. Tomorrow, she’ll leave this world, and it will be my second step to be the Empress of the Nation.'
