Chapter 02

AALIYAH POV – year 2020

After sitting on Aaden’s lap, I answer the phone call from Ronald and put the call on speaker mode. Aaden wrap his arms around my stomach and pull me towards him till my back is glued to his chest while hiding his face between my right shoulder and neck. It’s feeling amazing to love someone and being loved by the same person.

“Hello, Hello baby? Are you there?”

I feel Aaden’s grip around my stomach tighten, and he bites on my nape which cause me to hiss.

“Hello Aaliyah?”

Ronald’s voice came again when Aaden lick on his bite mark which causes me to moan in pleasure.

“I can hear you Ronald. Why do you call me suddenly and calling baby unlike any other day?”

I replied to the call while Aaden continues his assault on my nape.

“Why I can’t call you as baby? Tomorrow you are going to be my wife and soon the mother of my children.”

His words make me to burn in anger.

“Like I will allow him to have you. You are mine. Mine to love and ravish. My children are going to grow up here. Not his. I’ll kill that bastard for this thought.”

Aaden murmurs while nibbling on my ear lobe.

“You call me to say this rubbish? If so you can tell me them another time. I’m at an important meeting.”

Although I try to hide my anger, I know I fail to do so.

“What happen to you Aaliyah? You have never talked to me like this. Why do you go to meet Mr. Clifford?”

His impatient and inquiring voice, make, me alarmed. How the hell he knows that I come here? I feel fury to know that he spies on me. with that thought, I reply to him.

“How do you know that, I come to meet Aaden? Are you spying on me? You have nothing to do with whom I meet or for what purpose? Don’t make me think twice about this marriage”

I said in a threatening voice, which I know it will shut down him.

“No, I…. No…I don’t spy on you. One of my friends have spot your car there. I thought that you have a problem. That’s why. We’ll meet tomorrow at the wedding. Bye.”

He replies to me stammering and end the call.

“He surely has spy on you. He must have thin that, their secret was revealed to us. That must be the reason he calls you. Let’s go.”

He said while putting me down from his lap and taking my hand in his. He guides me to the second floor and open a room by putting his finger print.

There was a cabin make up with glass, and he indicates me to walk into it. As soon as I walk into it, he walks near a desktop on the near table. Then the door of the cabin closes, and a wave of blue ray move from my toes to head and then head to toes. The gem in my ring begins to shine in red colour making a sound of ‘beep beep.

Then the door of the cabin open and Aaden indicates me to come to him. He hugs me to his chest and take my left hand in his and looking on the ring.

“This ring has a tracker. Does that bastard give this to you?”

Aaden inquired seething angrily. I feel my anger raise again. That fucker has audacity to track the place I go on. I want to kill him.

“Yes, on my birthday my dad announces about our wedding to the media and that time he put this.”

I replied while trying to remove it from my finger. But, Aaden stops me from doing so. 

“No, keep it till tomorrow. If he finds about this he’ll suspect about you knowing something. I can kill him and Rachel by one phone call. But, I don’t want them to die easily. They have to repay their mistakes, and the process will begin from tomorrow.”

He said while kissing on my hair.

“Let’s go downstairs.”

When we walk downstairs hand in hand, there were several people there. 

“I have selected all items that require for a wedding. There are several numbers from one category. Select what you prefer most.”

He said while pecking on my lips. When I focus my attention towards the people, I find that the designer of my wedding gown was there too. She was look at me with curiosity.

“She is the designer of my previous wedding gown.”

I murmur to Aaden and he replies pacifying.

“Don’t worry. They’ll keep this a secret.”

I walk towards the designers and select materials. I have to say something. The all the materials he has selected for me was fitting to my preference, and it is difficult select one. After some time, I select the materials, and the designer and others leave the mansion.

“So, tomorrow you will be mine. Now go home and sleep early. I want my bride to be extra-active tomorrow. Especially at night.”

Aaden exclaim in a flirty voice making me red with shy.

“Ronald is at your home with his parents. Please try to act calm as possible because I don’t want them to get suspect about us knowing their secret. If they inquired about details say that you were here to treat me.”

Saying that, he kisses me intensely which I feel his taste throughout my journey to home. When I see Ronald’s and his dad’s cars in the garden I feel anger rice in my body. But, after few deep breaths I success in calming myself and walk into the home leaving the bags inside the car.

Ronald, his parents, and my parents are in the living room.

“Here comes our bride. You should have a rest today Aaliyah.”

Ronald’s mother said while hugging me.

“It’s okay aunty. I have to finish some important activities because, I’m out for next two weeks. Why do you guys come here at this moment? Is there any important thing?”

I inquired while feeling Ronald’s scanning eyes on me. He’s suspecting about my meeting with Aaden.

“Oh! No darling. We come here because the bridegroom wants to meet his bride.”

With a fake smile I look at Ronald, and he moves his eyes away from mine. Bastard! He can’t look at my eyes directly.

“Oh! He called me nearly two hours ago when I was out, and we had a small argument because he was prying into my personal life. Actually aunty, I don’t like people unnecessary prying into my life. Even my parents don’t do it, and they have faith on me that I never do wrong things. Also, I didn’t have done anything to break their trust till now. I expect the same from my life partner. Excuse me.”

Saying that, I walk towards my room in upstairs while my parents asking me to ‘don’t get angry for a little thing like this.
