The Nullus Compendium Vol. 0 invites readers into the enigmatic world of Elios, a moon bathed in the light of a sextenary star system, where the forces of magic and science are woven into the very fabric of its existence. Orbiting beneath six stars, Elios is a battleground of long-forgotten empires, cosmic powers and ancient mysteries waiting to be uncovered. Here, the remnants of the past echo through the lands, hidden in cryptic relics and arcane knowledge that could either doom or save its inhabitants.Within this world, characters from various walks of life converge, each bound by fate to the future of Elios. Devorah Nullus, the scholarly treasure hunter, searches for the lost knowledge that may hold the key to survival. Castor, the heir to a great throne, battles both external threats and internal turmoil as the shadow of his father's empire looms over him. Pirate captain Nirraj Elac sails the dangerous stormy seas, carrying the weight of his past while navigating the treacherous present, and looming in the background is Tianelm'axi, the powerful and terrifying queen of the Trypta species, manipulating forces beyond comprehension. As these characters cross paths, the lines between ally and enemy blur and their fates become inexorably linked. Their individual quests, driven by ambition, loyalty, fear, or survival, slowly weave together, creating a complex tapestry of intrigue, betrayal, and discovery. The delicate balance of power on Elios teeters on the brink as spectral beings emerge from the shadows and cosmic forces stir, threatening to reshape the very reality they know. The Nullus Compendium Vol. 0 masterfully blends high fantasy with elements of science fiction, transporting readers to a world where magic, technology, and time-bending forces collide. The intricate world-building envelops readers in a saga rich with history, cultures, and mythologies, while its multifaceted characters bring life to the story’s emotional core. In this captivating tale, the survival of all depends on unlocking the forgotten secrets of the past, secrets that could unravel the very fabric of the universe itself.

Prologue
After carefully reviewing the terms of your contract, I have decided that I cannot move forward with participation on your platform. While I appreciate the opportunity, there are several aspects of the contract that I find deeply concerning, and I want to explain my reasons for declining. First and foremost, the grant of rights for the full term of copyright is excessive. The ability to reclaim my rights as an author is extremely limited, and the conditions under which I could potentially terminate the agreement are too restrictive. Requiring authors to repay their income over a 36-month period to exit the contract, especially with the possibility of owing double for Premium Content, is unreasonable. Additionally, the punishing schedules required for bonuses—such as producing 50,000 words per month and posting a chapter daily—are not sustainable for me. The pressure to adhere to these terms with minimal days off and the threat of another writer taking over my work if I fall behind are unacceptable. The contract also lacks transparency in key areas. Without clear payment schedules or guarantees of financial accounting, there is no way to know when or how much I will be paid. The significant deductions from potential revenue further complicate the situation, making it unlikely that fair compensation will be received for my efforts. I also take issue with the first right of refusal clause on future works. The lack of a defined timeline or flexibility to refuse an offer leaves me vulnerable to being held in an indefinite waiting period. Lastly, the contract’s confidentiality requirements and penalties for author breach are restrictive and concerning. Although the financial penalties are less extreme compared to other platforms, the overall risks to my rights and creative freedom are too high. I want to thank you for considering my work, but I must respectfully decline participation due to these issues. -Lexi
