I open the door and in the living sits Andrew, Alex and Richard with Andre pacing the floor. Alex looks more distraught than anybody here with his head in his hands, Andrew is leaning back with his eyes closed and Richard scratches his chin like Andrew does when he is trying to solve a maths question. They were definitely brothers.
Andre is first to notice me and grabs everyone’s attention, “your highness,” he says with surprise. “You’re alive?”
Everyone else’s heads raise and look at me as if I’ve returned from the dead and just walked into their house with a pack of wolves behind me.
Well that’s pretty much what happened.
