Her words echoed in his head once more. She said she needed him to look over the store's specifics for her. He took a moment to contemplate before answering the phone.
Katherine made a lengthy, loud hiccup in the middle of their chat, indicating that she had had a satisfying dinner.
He told her where he was and invited her to come see him. He said he would accompany her to the store afterwards. Katherine thanked the person on the other end of the call and hung up.
