CHAPTER TEN : CHOICES

Aine came downstairs to see lady Claudette sitting already waiting for him , on seeing him , she had her usual strict face on

" I can see you decided to dress right today without been forced "

" Good morning Lady Claudette " he bowed as he greeted her

" I smell something fishy from you, anyway I came today with a lot of reenforcement " she pulled out a bigger ruler from her bag

" just great when I taught one was enough here she is with a longer and bigger one " Aine said to himself, he knew if he messed up today he would end up in the hospital.

" Shall we start " he nodded

After the usual morning prayers and inspection Aine had to practice his sitting again for another one hour but this time it was a lot less painful than before, after which he had to explain the use of culterys he learnt last night with the help of Cessy and Keera , he taught Lady Claudette would be impressed but no her face didn't give a hint of any emotions.

" I must say you improved a bit , just a bit you still have work to do , today I'll teach you on how to walk like royalty "

" why I think I walk just fine " Aine tried defending himself, he had to change his dress code , his eating habits and his sitting posture now this

" You walk like a hooligan , that's not how you should walk , don't you forget you're going to be the queen of Ultser, you shouldn't be walking like a gangster Lord, do you understand ? " Aine knew clearly well what would happen if he dare argue , today he just wanted to avoid lady Claudette and her rule.

" Now stand up straight, head straight , eyes forward and most importantly no arm swinging, Now walk " Aine looked like a child was learning how to walk, Both Aine and lady Claudette was distracted by Cessy's laugher

" I'm sorry I'm really sorry I didn't mean to disturb your lesson Lady Claudette " Cessy apologized

" that's not a problem your highness " lady Claudette said as she bowed

" it just that Aine looks funny walking that way " he covered his mouth trying to hide his laughter, Aine noticed that Cessy was all dressed

" Are you going somewhere " Aine asked , lady Claudette hit him with her ruler

" you're in a class , your focus should be here "

" it's Alright , well I'm on my way home my father requested my presence " Aine nodded as a signal that he understood what Cessy said.

" Alright I'll take my leave then" with that Cessy walked out leaving Aine with Lady Claudette.

After a few hours of practicing he's walks it was time for breakfast Lady Claudette excused him as she too went to have breakfast, Aine was too busy with him food that he forgot he was in the dinning hall , shortly Keera came downstairs

" Good morning little one , Aine greet as he acknowledged Keera's presence

" Good morning Aine " she greeted as she took her sit waiting for Cessy and Fitz to join for breakfast ,

" How was your night little one? " Aine wanted to keep the conversation going the silence in the large hall was uncomfortable.

" it was good , Cessy tucked me in bed, he told me a bedtime story and he also sang "

" That must really be nice"

" Speaking of Cessy where is he his never late for breakfast " she was about to go look for him when Aine told her about Cessy meeting his father

" Really no one tells me anything anymore , I use to be the queen of this palace " she sighed to show her displeasure.

Fitz was close to the dinner Hall when he heard Keera's voice he wondered who she was speaking with because Cessy had already left , he entered the hall to see Aine and Keera sitting and eating. The disgust he felt from seeing Aine couldn't be measured , he turned around about to leave when Keera called out to his which made him stop his tracks

" Aren't you having breakfast ? " Keera asked

" I am I was just going to check the sound outside " he lied Aine knew very well that he was the problem

" What sounds I can't hear anything , Aine can you hear it because I can't " Fitz gave Aine one of his don't you dare stares which made Aine smile.

" Keera you brother doesn't want to eat with me remember he doesn't really like me that much "Aine wanted to have a little bit of fun with Fitz he had been stuck with Lady Claudette all morning

" That's can't be true you both made up remember " Keera pointed out as she turned to Fitz

" Of we did princess but right I ju..... "

" No more excuses come sit and eat with us , if that's the case " Fitz was still a bit hesitant to sit with Aine he knew himself and knew he would explode and he didn't want that in front of Keera

" What is the matter , why are you still standing there come sit or are you scared to eat with me ? " Fitz sat down he was trying to be control of his temper aside the fact that Keera was present he had also promised Cessy that he wouldn't argue or fight with Aine during the time he was away.

Fitz picked up his spoon and started eating, Aine was still not satisfied he wanted more funny with Fitz,

" Tell me how's the food ?" he tried to hold his laughter, Fitz on the other hand didn't reply to any of his comments, after a while Keera excused herself for the table to get ready for her classes,

" I can't even get mad at your foolishness and disobedience toward my command , after all you're a Meath " Fitz turned towards Aine with a every disgusting face

" The next time I see you here there's no telling what I will do to you , this is your final warning " he stood up , Aine too also stood as well.

" You know what from now on I don't care what you say I'm not scared of you and your empty words , I don't like you as much as you don't like me so don't think I'll sit down and watch you do what ever it is that you please to me , have a nice day your Majesty " he said in a sarcastic way as he walked off.

" I can wait till when I have the chance to ripe your head off " Fitz said under his breath trying to control his temper.

" What in Earth's name do you think you're doing Cessiar , you're going to let him marry another man " Cessy father asked in rage after finding out the he was letting Fitz married to Aine

" Father that was the only right thing to do , Fitz would have left the thorne and that would also be a problem " Cessy tried explaining to his father , he received another slap for the words he said

" Right thing to do , oh well done Prince Cessiar right, you're nothing but a disgrace to me at this point , I'll arrange your marriage to Prince Morse by the end of the year " he said as he was about to walk out of the room

" No Never , I'll never leave Fitz alone never I love him and I'll stay will him even if he's getting married and yo..... " another slap cut off Cessy words his father grabbed him by the neck applying pressure to his hands trying to caught off Cessy air supply

" I don't know why I expect more from you , ever since you were born I knew you were nothing more than a useless child, a burden , First I had to put up with that idea that my son was gay '' Cessy's father had a problem with Cessy sexuality he wasn't expecting his son to be gay, Cessy was still struggling to get away from his father's grip

" Your mother and I never wanted to have you, you were nothing but a big mistake , now just this one little thing you can't pull it off , Cessy what do you want me to be proud of ? " he threw Cessy on the ground , Tears ran down Cessy's face these were words he always heard as he was growing up but he still never got used to them.

" Why can't you be more like your brother Eldon, just look at him , his the definition of a true leader and you are nothing and always going to be nothing " he walked to where Cessy was trying to get back on his feet and stepped on his chest

" You're are nothing to me , I'll never see you as my son , never '' he increased the pressure in his leg all he wanted to do was inflect pain on Cessy even if he knew that he didn't choose to live this way.

" Do you know what you just waste the lives that died just for you to get to that thorne " Cessy was shocking hearing what his father just said , he knew his father was a bit ruthless but murder is another thing entirely , he had people killed just for a thorne that Cessy wasn't interested in , the only thing he wanted was to love Fitz .

" Lives ? who's life Father ? " deep within his heart he was praying not to be what he was expecting

" You want to know the lives of your loving boyfriend's parents , you're wasting their dead those poor souls , if I Know you'll be this stupid I wont have killed them "

Immediately Cessy heard his father's words it was like he felt like his prefect little world was coming to an end, what would he tell Fitz that he was the cause of his problems just because his father was greedy to expand his kingdom, the tears that dropped from Cessy tear wasn't measurable to his pain, the pain he felt in his heart was more than the pain inflected by his father , this was all his fault it would have been better if he wasn't born , if only he had never met Fitz then this wouldn't have happened.

it's was getting late also raining very heavily and Cessy wasn't back yet, although he never gave a specific day that he would be back , he wasn't picking Fitz's calls which made him worried , he didn't know if to go all the way to Ulaid to make Cessy was safe , he knew Cessy didn't get allow with his father but Cessy had never ignored his calls. Cessy on the other hand sat in a distance in front of Fitz palace under the pouring rain still crying , he didn't know if he should go in or not how could he face Fitz after everything his father just confessed to him , how could he tell the man he loves that his very own father was responsible for the death of his parents.
